Select weapons (uses energy) → End turn → Press F at the right moment to parry and gain energy → Repeat

Controls

  • Press F to parry enemy attacks or select a weapon.
  • Press R to attack (if a weapon is selected) or end your turn.
  • Use WASD keys to navigate between weapons.
  • Controller supported.

Tips

  • Turn on the audio to hear sound effects and time your parries.
  • Earn more energy by parrying enemy attacks.
  • Using two weapons at once requires sufficient energy: Knife 2 and Hammer 3.

Developer’s Note

Parrying in Expedition 33 is fun, but a bit tough  for me, so I created a simpler version inspired by some mechanics from the lovely game Shogun Showdown.
I also experimented with some UI stuff this time. The flexibility is amazing.
Thanks to the community, developing with Bevy has been a truly enjoyable journey!
